The Institute for Molecular Bioscience and IMBcom are proud sponsors of the Industry or business (senior position/s or researcher/s) category of the Our Women, Our State Awards 2009.
The Our Women, Our State Awards recognise the achievements of Queensland girls and women in building brighter futures for other females in Queensland's science, engineering and technology industries. In celebration of Queensland's 150th birthday, the awards also include a special Great Queensland Woman Award, which will recognise the significant efforts of one outstanding Queensland woman in achieving progress for women in our state.

$1000 Donation
In lieu of sending out christmas cards, each year IMBcom donates to a selected charity. This year IMBcom donated $1000 to ACT for Kids (Abused Child Trust). ACT for Kids is a not-for-profit organisation which gives direct parenting support to over 1,200 families through their network of ACT for Kids family centres.
